A fact-checked guide to HUMAIN, Unifonic, Lucidya, Intelmatix, Intella, Mozn, COGNNA and Orhan.ai—separating disclosed funding from private valuation and mapping the layer of the AI economy each company is building.

Funding is public more often than valuation

A funding round tells us how much new capital entered a company; a valuation tells us the negotiated value of the company’s equity at that moment. They are not interchangeable. Except where a company or investor has disclosed a priced valuation, this article marks valuation as undisclosed rather than repeating estimates from private databases.

The ordering below reflects a combination of disclosed capital, operating scale and strategic relevance to Saudi Arabia’s AI stack. It is not a league table of market capitalization. HUMAIN’s infrastructure commitments, for example, signal national-scale ambition but do not reveal HUMAIN’s corporate valuation. The same discipline applies to venture-backed companies: cumulative funding is evidence of investor support, not a current price tag.

  • HUMAIN — valuation undisclosed; PIF-owned, with multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programs and national strategic reach.
  • Unifonic — valuation undisclosed; US$146 million across its publicly announced 2018 and 2021 rounds.
  • Lucidya — valuation undisclosed; US$37.1 million across disclosed seed, Series A and Series B rounds.
  • Intelmatix — valuation undisclosed; US$20 million Series A disclosed, with earlier round terms not public.
  • Intella — valuation undisclosed; US$16.9 million total capital raised after its 2025 Series A.
  • Mozn — valuation undisclosed; US$10 million Series A plus an undisclosed strategic investment from HUMAIN in 2026.
  • COGNNA — valuation undisclosed; US$9.2 million Series A disclosed in December 2025.
  • Orhan.ai — valuation and funding undisclosed; included as an emerging Saudi enterprise-AI company to watch.

HUMAIN is building the Kingdom’s sovereign AI backbone

Launched by the Public Investment Fund in May 2025, HUMAIN operates across the full AI value chain: data centers, accelerated cloud infrastructure, data platforms, models and applications. That breadth makes it the most strategically important AI company in the Kingdom even though PIF has not published a standalone valuation.

Its value is best understood through capacity and ecosystem leverage. HUMAIN has announced infrastructure collaborations with NVIDIA, AMD, Cisco, Qualcomm and AWS; the AWS relationship alone outlined more than US$5 billion of joint investment in an AI Zone. HUMAIN also launched HUMAIN Chat on the Saudi-built ALLAM 34B Arabic model and, in 2026, made a strategic investment in Mozn. The company is not simply another application vendor—it is trying to create the domestic compute, model and distribution layers on which many other Saudi AI businesses can grow.

  • Capital signal: PIF ownership and large infrastructure commitments; corporate valuation is not publicly disclosed.
  • Core products: AI data centers, cloud and accelerator infrastructure, data platforms, ALLAM models and AI applications.
  • Why it matters: control of compute and sovereign Arabic models can reduce the Kingdom’s dependence on imported AI capacity.

Unifonic is turning communications scale into autonomous CX

Unifonic began in Saudi Arabia as communications infrastructure and has evolved into an AI-native customer-experience platform. Its disclosed rounds total US$146 million: US$21 million in 2018 and a US$125 million Series B led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Sanabil Investments in 2021. The company has not publicly disclosed a current valuation.

The strategic asset is the combination of regulated communications infrastructure, regional operating data and conversational AI. Following its acquisition of SESTEK, Unifonic has moved beyond messaging APIs toward Agentic Studio, autonomous customer-care and marketing workflows, Arabic speech capabilities and supervised multi-agent execution. In 2026 it said its platform served more than 5,000 organizations. That installed base gives it a distribution advantage few younger AI startups can match.

  • Capital signal: US$146 million in two publicly announced rounds; valuation undisclosed.
  • Core products: omnichannel customer engagement, conversational AI, agentic customer care and marketing automation.
  • Why it matters: it can move AI agents directly into high-volume, regulated customer journeys.

Lucidya is building an Arabic-first customer-experience intelligence layer

Lucidya’s published investor history records a US$1.1 million seed round, a US$6 million Series A and a US$30 million Series B, for US$37.1 million in disclosed venture funding. Its valuation remains private. The 2025 Series B, led by Impact46, gave the company one of the strongest disclosed capital positions among Saudi application-layer AI businesses.

Lucidya focuses on AI-powered customer-experience management for Arabic-speaking markets. Its platform brings together social listening, interaction analytics, customer data and engagement tools, with Arabic language and dialect understanding as the differentiator. The value lies in translating regional language complexity into a product enterprises can use to understand sentiment, identify issues and act on customer signals across channels.

  • Capital signal: US$37.1 million in disclosed rounds; valuation undisclosed.
  • Core products: Arabic-native social listening, customer-experience analytics, customer data and engagement.
  • Why it matters: Arabic language depth is difficult to reproduce with generic global CX tooling.

Intelmatix is productizing enterprise decision-making

Intelmatix closed a US$20 million Series A in 2024, led by Shorooq Partners with participation from Saudi and regional investors. Terms of its earlier funding were not disclosed, and neither was a valuation. Its enterprise platform, EDIX, is designed to help organizations model complex operational decisions rather than limit AI to text generation.

This category matters because a large share of enterprise value sits in planning: demand forecasts, network design, workforce allocation, expansion decisions and other choices with many interacting constraints. Intelmatix is attempting to make advanced analytics and optimization usable by business teams, moving AI closer to decisions that affect cost, growth and resource utilization.

  • Capital signal: US$20 million Series A; valuation undisclosed.
  • Core product: EDIX, an enterprise decision-intelligence platform.
  • Why it matters: better operational decisions can create measurable value without requiring a consumer-facing AI product.

Intella is making spoken Arabic computable

Intella raised a US$12.5 million Series A led by Prosus in September 2025, bringing total disclosed capital to US$16.9 million. Its valuation was not announced. The company develops speech intelligence for more than 25 Arabic dialects, including transcription, conversation analytics and AI-powered customer engagement.

The opportunity is larger than transcription. Contact-center calls contain churn signals, compliance risk, product feedback and service failures, but generic speech systems often lose meaning when confronted with dialect, code-switching and local acoustic conditions. Intella’s value is its Arabic-first model and data layer, which can turn that previously dark operational data into something enterprises can search, measure and automate.

  • Capital signal: US$16.9 million total raised; valuation undisclosed.
  • Core products: dialectal Arabic speech recognition, analytics and conversational agents.
  • Why it matters: proprietary regional speech data can become a durable technical moat.

Mozn applies Arabic AI to high-stakes enterprise risk

Mozn announced a US$10 million Series A for its enterprise AI business and later received an undisclosed strategic investment from HUMAIN in August 2026. No public valuation accompanied either transaction. Mozn’s products combine Arabic natural-language understanding with financial-crime, anti-fraud and risk capabilities for regulated organizations.

The company’s importance comes from working where model accuracy, explainability and local regulatory knowledge matter. Financial institutions and public-sector organizations do not only need a model; they need secure deployment, defensible workflows and integration with case management and operational controls. The HUMAIN partnership is intended to take that stack to production at larger scale and support international expansion.

  • Capital signal: US$10 million Series A and a later undisclosed HUMAIN investment; valuation undisclosed.
  • Core products: Arabic language intelligence, anti-money-laundering, fraud and enterprise risk systems.
  • Why it matters: domain expertise and regulatory fit create stronger barriers than a general-purpose AI interface.

COGNNA is automating the security operations center

Riyadh-based COGNNA announced a US$9.2 million Series A in December 2025, led by Impact46 and co-led by BNVT Capital. The company did not disclose a valuation. Its Nexus platform combines agentic AI, automation and human security expertise to detect, investigate and respond to threats.

Cybersecurity is a natural market for carefully governed agents because security operations centers face high alert volume, repetitive investigation and costly analyst shortages. COGNNA’s opportunity is to shorten detection and resolution while keeping human experts in control of consequential actions. Local compliance knowledge and regionally operated services can also matter to Saudi enterprises in regulated sectors.

  • Capital signal: US$9.2 million Series A; valuation undisclosed.
  • Core products: agentic security operations, managed detection and response, and automated investigation.
  • Why it matters: it applies agents to a costly, skills-constrained and mission-critical workflow.

Orhan.ai is focused on moving enterprises from AI pilots to operating outcomes

Orhan.ai is a Riyadh-based enterprise AI company focused on agentic applications for work, service and process. It has not publicly disclosed funding or valuation, so it should be viewed as an emerging company to watch rather than ranked by an invented financial estimate.

The company’s proposition is execution: helping organizations deploy governed AI agents across customer service, employee productivity and knowledge-intensive processes. Its platform approach emphasizes model and hosting flexibility, enterprise control, observability and the ability to connect agents to real workflows. That addresses a widening gap in the market: many organizations can run an AI demonstration, but far fewer can turn it into a secure, measurable production system.

Orhan.ai’s place in the Saudi ecosystem is complementary to the infrastructure and model builders above it. Sovereign compute and Arabic models create capacity; enterprise implementation turns that capacity into faster service, better decisions and automated work. The long-term value of companies in this layer will be proven through repeatable deployments and documented business outcomes.

  • Capital signal: funding and valuation are not publicly disclosed.
  • Core products: AI for Work, AI for Service and AI for Process, delivered through governed agentic applications.
  • Why it matters: adoption depends on integration, control and measurable outcomes—not model access alone.

Saudi Arabia is developing a layered AI economy, not a single champion

These companies occupy different layers and increasingly reinforce one another. HUMAIN supplies sovereign infrastructure, models and ecosystem capital. Unifonic, Lucidya and Intella specialize in Arabic customer interactions. Intelmatix targets complex decisions. Mozn and COGNNA focus on high-assurance risk and security. Orhan.ai works at the enterprise execution layer, where agents are connected to the systems and controls required for production.

The most valuable companies will not necessarily be those with the loudest model announcement. Durable value is more likely to come from a difficult-to-copy asset: compute capacity, proprietary Arabic data, distribution into regulated enterprises, domain-specific workflows, operational evidence or deep integration with systems of record. Investors and buyers should therefore ask what a company controls, what business outcome it can prove and how safely it can scale.

The bottom line: disclosed funding shows where capital has been placed, but Saudi AI leadership will be decided by production use. Valuations may remain private; operating results will be harder to hide.
